Procurement Executive

Key activities & responsibilities:
- Responsible for purchasing, logistics and administrative jobs scope which includes prepare purchase order, coordinating local and import shipment
- To source, negotiate, close orders with local and overseas suppliers and expedite delivery of materials.
- To review the existing procurement processes and implement continuous improvement where necessary to ensure costs are monitored, reviewed and controlled within the company’s budget.
- Manage, monitor & keeping track of inventory levels to review advancement or delay of purchase requested delivery date
- To work closely with Finance to ensure all documentation of procurement and logistics meet the audit requirements.
- Assist to prepare shipping documents, track orders for the import shipments and liaise with freight forwarders & warehouse to ensure timely delivery.
- To assist in general administrative & operations works and maintain proper filing system and ensure traceability of documents.
- Pleasant personality, presentable and able to interact well with people as well as communication across different departments
- Knowledge of incoterm in the logistics industry is advantageous.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**STRATEGIC PROCUREMENT MANAGEMENT**
- Oversee end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry regulations.
- Assess, manage, and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities.
- Monitor and forecast upcoming demands to proactively address supply chain requirements.
**SUPPLIER SOURCING AND MANAGEMENT**
- Constantly source and select suppliers through strategic processes.
- Comparison of price, payment terms and production leads time of suppliers to meet company’s target
- Monitor production activities and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Implement strategic sourcing and pricing strategies to maximize company profits, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and policies.
- Manage, review, and evaluate suppliers' performance, emphasizing cost competitiveness, quality consistency, and service reliability.
**WAREHOUSE AND LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT**
- Oversee warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving functions.
**PROJECT COORDINATION**
- Plan, monitor, and coordinate with various departments to ensure procurement timeline aligns with project timeline i.e. deliverable materials meet project timeline.
**PURCHASE REQUIREMENT CONFIRMATION**
- Work closely with internal project teams to confirm purchase requirements.
- Advise and support project team on goods/services procurement.
**TEAM LEADERSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT**
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement operations support professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- OR any qualifications but has procurement roles employment.
- Understanding of procurement processes, strategic sourcing, and pricing strategies.
- Required good negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Dealing with overseas suppliers especially China (prefer Mandarin speaker)

No 27, Jalan TPP 1/1, Taman Perindustrian Puchong, 47100, Selangor.
