**POSITION OVERVIEW**

Perform as a Material Officer to manage inventory of raw materials and local supplier sourcing for production.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To provide the parts that production technicians request immediately to prevent production slow down.
- To ensure the quantity of materials received is same as purchase requested and meet production build plan.
- To request/place order if the stock quantity reaches a certain level which cannot support the production line for 4 months.
- To resolve materials shortages with suppliers or upper management to prevent production line down and late delivery/exportation to other branches/countries.
- To perform materials issuing/receiving, materials handling jobs etc.
- To maintain housekeeping of working environment.
- Able to work OT and weekends, Sunday if required.
- To prepare detailed records on procurement activities, quantity of materials and suppliers.
- To contact local suppliers/Procurement Team for quotation request, materials procurement and defective materials reject.
- To manage and control quantity of materials to other production line.
- To manage material storage by identifying, cataloging and recording the location of materials.
- To sort and organize the returned stock from other branches.
- Update the quantity of functional parts that dismantled from disposed products into the system.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Able to read and communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, having 1 year or above working experience in related field would be an added advantage.
- Technical & Management Skills: Good time management skill & Housekeeping skill.
- Have a good attitude, responsible, discipline and good in time management.

**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
