**QUALITY CONTROL CHEMIST**

Department : PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Report to : PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

**Primary Responsibilities**

You are responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of gypsum board products by conducting rigorous testing and analysis. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain adherence to quality standards, identify areas for improvement and contribute to the overall success of the manufacturing process.

**DUTIES COVERED**

1. Quality Testing and Analysis:
Conduct chemical and physical tests on gypsum board raw materials, intermediates and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Perform tests related to strength, fire resistance, setting time and other relevant properties.

2. Laboratory Operations:
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment used in Quality Control testing.

Ensure that all testing equipment is calibrated and functioning accurately.

3. Documentation and Record Keeping:
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all quality control tests, procedures and results.

Prepare and organize documentation for internal and external audits.

4. Root Cause Analysis:
Investigate and identify the root causes of any deviations from quality standards.

Collaborate with other departments to implement corrective and preventive actions.

5. Quality Control Procedures:
Develop and update quality control procedures to reflect changes in manufacturing processes or product specifications.

**REQUIREMENT**
- Knowledgeable about PLC (Programmable Logic Controller)
- Willing to travel to China for training purpose
- Minimum 3 years working of experience in the related field
- Ability to support new plant operation

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
