**To provide technical support relating to tooling design (pressing, progressive stamping & progressive forming)**:

- Ability to comment on tooling design and understand customer requirements.
- Design low as well as high-volume stamping tooling based on customer specifications.
- Manage entire project activities, beginning from order receipt through the first production run.
- Liaise with the Stamping team to create new tooling designs and manufacturing prototypes as well as production tooling.
- Familiar with using AutoCAD to analyze and improve the existing tooling designs.
- To facilitate design tooling to be cost-effective as well as repeatedly develop quality components.
- Select appropriate materials and tooling for stamping processes.
- Develop and implement Stamping plans, schedules, and workflow processes to meet the targets and standards.
- Provide guidance to the Stamping team to ensure continuous stamping improvement.

**To be successful in this role**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical).
- **Good knowledge of all kinds of raw materials for piercing, bending, and forming.**:

- **At least 5 years and above of working experience in Stamping role in the Electrical components Manufacturing, specifically with industrial switch sockets will be an advantage.**:

- Familiar with AutoCAD software in the preparation of tooling prints and designs.
