**Responsibilities**:
Set publication standards and establish goals and expectations.
Responsible for planning and executing the short
- and long-term strategic plan for ASM publications.
Coordinate online or print publishing cycle.
Edit study reports and briefs, annual reports, books, speeches, factsheets, press releases, events collaterals, and other publications as assigned.
Correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, and style.
Proofread and oversee layout (artwork, design) based on ASM’s publication’s style, editorial policy, and publishing specifications.
Cooperate and liaise with a team of designers and writers as well as external editors, designers, writers, printing companies, etc. to deliver high-quality content and manage deadlines.
Use your creative writing skills to create content.
Translation of pieces to Bahasa Melayu is sometimes required.
Meet deadlines and budget requirements.
Coordinate meetings and maintain professional communication with the members of the ASM Publication Committee.
Other duties as needed.

**Key Requirements**:
Bachelor’s degree in English Language & Literature/ Journalism/ Media or related field.
Proven working experience as an Editor.
Strong writing, editing, proofreading skills and adherence to editorial and technical style.
An eye for detail along with creative thinking with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Malay language.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
Independent, proactive, and self-motivated with a record in timely delivery of requests.
Possess management experience, organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects and manage multiple deadlines.
