Retail Business Services (RBS) at Amazon is a dynamic team focused on three core objectives: Efficiently setting up new products on our website Maintaining up-to-date product information across our digital platforms Swiftly resolving supply chain defects to ensure seamless customer experiences We are currently expanding our team and seeking talented individuals for the role of Catalog Associate. As a Catalog Associate within RBS, you will play a crucial role in driving customer satisfaction and boosting sales through your expertise in product lifecycle management on the Amazon website. Key job responsibilities Follow pre-defined processes, guidelines, and SOPs to perform audit tasks to meet required level of accuracy and productivity. - Demonstrate excellent time management skills and ability to work independently while using guidelines and SOPs - Ability to make logical decisions while auditing tasks and dealing with ambiguity - Thoroughly check product details to ensure accuracy and completeness of the data - Analyze data and identify new trends/patterns to dive business results. - Provide feedback to streamline existing processes to help the team achieve more consistent results with high quality. - Review multiple sources to validate catalog data when needed. - Identify patterns in browse and audit to be translated into guidelines and SOPs to improve overall audit outcome - Must be flexible to meet business requirements. Your meticulous attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high-quality product data will directly impact customer experience and drive sales growth. By ensuring accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date product information, you'll help customers make informed purchasing decisions and reduce potential issues related to product expectations. Skills: - Strong written communication skills - Good working knowledge of MS Office - Typing skill of 40 wpm with 100% accuracy - Preferably a domain expert Ability to: - Multi task in a fast paced environment - Operate in the system with the speed and accuracy necessary to meet departmental standards - Handle stressful situations - Maintain composure in critical situations and communicate clearly with both internal and external customers A day in the life Under general supervision, performs variety of tasks in populating/procuring content for the product catalogs on the Amazon Web Site. Duties may include, content creation, population of content from various sources (including research on the internet), interacting/coordinating with vendor/manufacturers, identifying and correcting errors/complaints, maintaining records of work received and work performed etc. About the team Join our team and be at the forefront of shaping the online shopping experience for millions of Amazon customers worldwide.
