- Minimum 5-year shore management experience preferred.
- Proficient in Spoken and Written: English, Bahasa Malaysia
- Ensure that the Company’s fleet meet all national and international regulations and certifications continuously.
- Continuously review the regulatory landscape and lead the team to compliance.
- Study the stakeholder’s requirement and ensure the fleet’s ability to perform to its regulatory and commercial obligations.
- Monitor the effective maintenance of the fleet’s equipment and machinery, identifying trends and implement solutions that will enhance the safety and operational performance of the vessels.
- Control the vessels’ performance, shipboard maintenance and repair programs and ensure that defects are rectified within the required timeframe to meet Flag and Class requirements.
- Advise the superior on the approval for the annual vessel operating budgets and monitor the actual costs throughout the year and ensure that variance to budget is kept to the minimum.
- Approve dry dock specifications, and any other major repair works prior to commitment with vendor.
- Identify staff training requirements.
- Assist the superior in the preparation of documents for vessel Charters, Sale & Purchase and Insurance Claims.
- Set up a communication system suitable to achieve team awareness of the Company’s mission, vision and objectives.
- Formulate and coordinate a visitation plan to ensure that the vessels are visited by Superintendent at regular intervals.
- Assist in emergency response.
- Work in a responsible and harmonious attitude to fulfil the Company mission and vision and policies.
- Any other duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.

**Salary**: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
