JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
What you will do:
Assist in the management and execution of the spend portfolio of the Silver Spend category within the Strategic Sourcing function of Astro Group Procurement. This area of Procurement seeks to manage and negotiate the lower value spends with interfaces around the whole business, supporting a fast and value-based approach to sourcing.

Value Management
- Manage the overall Silver Category Value Delivery program.
- Maintain accurate contracts database for all category contracts.
- Manage Category Sourcing Pipelines (existing & new requirements).
- Manage the overall Category Value Delivery program.
- Manage Value tracking in line with functional targets.

Sourcing Management
- Execute tail spend sourcing activities and conducted efficiently.
- Lead the sourcing process, understanding requirements, formulating smart go-to-market sourcing strategies, execute sourcing activities (e.g. RFI/RFQ/RFP), bid evaluation, supplier selection, etc.
- Manage a programme of transformation to digitalisation, supplier panels, supplier catalogues and supplier rationalisation in support of business objectives and efficient sourcing turnaround times.
- Responsible for briefing the stakeholders (internal customers) on deployment plans, activities, timelines, and their respective roles/responsibilities.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities and establish sources for new technologies and markets as driven by business requirements.
- Communicate with stakeholders on the progress of projects, issues, and benefits of the initiatives.
- Maintain contract repository of signed legal agreements.

Risk Management
- Ensure risk management techniques are utilised to minimise and mitigate risks across the supplier base.
- Discussion and requisition performed by the internal auditors on the overall process of RFx exercises to ensure the processes are compliant with company governance and procedures.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or other relevant fields.
- Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
- Proficient commercial and contractual negotiator.
- Good planning, organisational and project management skills.
- Analytical and detailed oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good commercial acumen.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communicator.

Other desired traits/competencies:

- Knowledge or experience in Strategic Procurement.
