Training Officer

Responsibilities:

- Learn, Understand and Practice Core Concepts: Familiarize yourself with the software tools, platforms, and languages relevant to the organization. Invest time in hands-on learning and training sessions, including tutorials, and eLearning, to gain knowledge about the Group’s automation and software practices.
- Assist in Software Development and Automation Tasks: Collaborate with senior developers and engineers to write, test, and debug software code. Support in setting up, configuring, and maintaining automation systems and tools. This may include integrating different software tools or platforms, scripting to automate repetitive tasks, or helping with deployment processes.
- Documentation and Reporting: Document processes, configurations, and code for future references and for other team members. Provide regular updates on progress, challenges faced, and solutions applied to mentors or team leads.
- Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with different departments and teams to understand their software and automation needs. Actively seek feedback and clarifications, ensuring effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Experiment with emerging technologies, tool, and methodologies in software and automation. Share insights and findings with the team, suggesting potential areas for implementation or improvements.
- Performs other related duties/ tasks as assigned by superior/management.

**Requirements**:

- Must possess at least a Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology (IT) or other related disciplines.

**- Availability of 6 months and above as the minimum requirement for the duration of our Apprenticeship Program is 6 months.**
- Basic understanding of automation tools such as Robotic Process Automation (“RPA”) and techniques.
- Familiarity with at least one programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with database design.
- Open to learning new tools, languages, or methodologies is essential.
- Ability to think critically and troubleshoot issues that involves logical thinking and an analytical mindset to approach problems methodically.
- Good business acumen and ability to work with complex business processes.
- Strong communication skills and good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Independent, self-motivated, organized, results oriented, attention to details, good problem-solving skills, and ability to undertake multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Above all, the ability to demonstrate LEAD BY EXAMPLE, foster a GROWTH mindset and uphold a TEAMWORK spirit to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
