Training and Development Manager

Objective / Purpose of the Job
The Training and Development Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and evaluating training programs for employees at all levels within the organization. They will collaborate with department heads and other stakeholders to identify training needs, develop appropriate curriculum, and deliver high-quality training sessions.
Key Activities / Accountabilities
- Develop training programs that align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
- Create and implement training materials, including presentations, handouts, and online resources.
- Coordinate and facilitate training sessions for employees, ensuring content is engaging and relevant.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and assessments, and make improvements as needed.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and ensure that all employees receive necessary skills development.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in training and development.
- Manage the budget for training programs, including sourcing external trainers and vendors when necessary.
- Maintain training records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Involve in the corporate cultural change program.
Preferred Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
- Degree/Master degree in Human Resource Management, Business Marketing Management, Social Science, Humanities, Business Administration.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in training and development, with a proven track record of designing and implementing successful programs.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with learning management systems and other training tools.
- Able to work under fast pace environment
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.
Technical skills and Competencies:
- Microsoft Office -Excel, Word and Power Point
- Working supportively as a team member and effectively as an individual
- Communicating effectively across functions and levels
- Drive for results
- Problem solving skills
