_**JOB PURPOSE**_
To assist Purchasing Manager / Assistant Purchasing Manager to oversee daily operations of Purchasing and Warehouse Department
- **DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:_
- Responsible for the centralized procurement and merchandise for Central Kitchen and all outlets.
- Handling daily operations issue and always update the new product trend.
- Developing suitable strategy and price assortment strategy that delivers profit to the company.
- Conduct market research to identify pricing market trends.
- Establish good relationships with suppliers and exercise good negotiation skills.
- Provide accurate and timely forecasts and purchase order to suppliers to ensure continuity of product supplies.
- To monitor and keep track on suppliers’ performance, work closely with Operations and Warehouse team for optimum delivery process.
- To manage emergency stock to be made available during stock-outs.
- To assure that all items (item code, specification, unit price) are updated into system in a timely manner.
- To generate and monitor on monthly inventory count and goods’ expiration date report. To investigate on any stock discrepancies.
- Generating monthly reports.
- Build up team work and motivate the team to achieve target goal.
**Other Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Discharge such other duties and responsibilities that may be directed by Purchasing Manager / Assistant Purchasing Manager.
- Any other duty as stated in the summary of functions and responsibilities issued from time to time but not mentioned in this Job Description.
- **JOB REQUIREMENT**:_
- Ability to work independently and as part of team
- Fluent in Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia (Other spoken languages will be value added)
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
