As a Retail and Cafe Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting with various tasks in both the retail and cafe areas. Your primary goal is to ensure a pleasant and efficient shopping and dining experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:

- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Assist customers in locating products, answering questions, and providing product information.
- Take customer orders in the cafe, process payments accurately, and serve food and beverages promptly.

Retail Operations:

- Maintain a clean and organized retail area, ensuring that shelves and displays are well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Assist with restocking inventory and monitoring product expiration dates.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
- Handle customer returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
- Assist in pricing products and updating signage as needed.

Cafe Operations:

- Prepare and serve food and beverages, including coffee, sandwiches, pastries, and snacks.
- Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines when handling and preparing food.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the cafe area, including cleaning tables, counters, and equipment.
- Monitor and replenish cafe supplies as necessary.
- Take customer orders, prepare orders efficiently, and ensure they are served promptly.
- Handle customer inquiries, special requests, and dietary restrictions with professionalism and courtesy.

Product Knowledge:

- Stay informed about product offerings, promotions, and special deals.
- Continuously expand your knowledge of the cafe menu, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
- Assist in training new staff members as needed.

**Job Type**: Internship
Contract length: 3-6 months

**Salary**: RM1,000.00 - RM1,200.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bangsar: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
- Bahasa (preferred)
