Conducting regular inspections of the project site to identify potential hazards, unsafe practices, or compliance issues. Performing audits to assess the effectiveness of existing safety measures and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Developing and delivering safety training programs for project personnel, including contractors and subcontractors, to ensure they are aware of and understand safety procedures, emergency protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Developing site-specific health and safety plans and procedures in accordance with applicable regulations and project requirements. Collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution.
- Investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and contributing factors. Developing recommendations to prevent recurrence and implementing corrective measures to improve safety performance.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety legislation, codes, standards, and best practices. Keeping abreast of regulatory changes and industry developments to continuously improve safety practices and procedures.
- Facilitating effective communication of safety-related information to project personnel through meetings, toolbox talks, signage, and other means. Promoting a safety-conscious culture and encouraging active participation in safety initiatives.
- Establishing emergency response plans and procedures for various scenarios, including medical emergencies, fires, hazardous material spills, and natural disasters. Conducting drills and exercises to test emergency preparedness and response capabilities.
- Maintaining accurate records of safety activities, including inspections, training sessions, incidents, and corrective actions. Generating reports for project management, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
