**Job Summary and Mission**

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role contributes to Berjaya Food Berhad’s success by managing relationship with investors, shareholders and other stakeholders. Responsible to broaden and enhance shareholder value and the Groups’ financial standings via implementing meaningful investor and shareholder communications strategy.

**Summary of Key Responsibilities**

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

- Responsible for managing stakeholder communications including internal and external data gathering, preparation of various communications such as annual reports, announcements and releases, investor or shareholder reports, etc.
- Develops, measures and monitors progress of announcements and media/public receptiveness and provide insights and analyses, where required.
- Develops and executes strategic stakeholder engagement initiatives via various communication channels that add values to the Group’s brand reputation and financial position.
- Conducts market research and prepares reports for management on industry and competitive analysis, comparative evaluation, corporate earnings, etc. to facilitate management decision making.
- Plan, implement and manage all investor-related programs for the Group to promote a strong public image and business interests of the organization. This includes organizing meetings, networking and identifying and establishing new relationships with new investors.
- Consults with business unit heads and cross functional teams to provide valuable shareholder /investor perspectives for decision making.
- Ensures company policies comply with laws and regulations regarding financial reporting. Keeps up to date and provide advice on changing regulations to ensure compliance.
- Maintains and updates the corporate IR website.

**Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- 5 - 7 years’ related work experience in investor relations, communications and reputation management for listed companies.
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Business & Strategic Management /Finance /Economics /Public Relations.
- Meticulous, with high proficiency in written and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen, analytical and has a sound understanding of financial principles.
- Proactive, able to work independently to meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge in financial modeling or valuation analytics is an advantage.
