Key Responsibilities:_
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and identify opportunities for expanding the customer base.
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, architects, designers, and contractors.
- Oversee the overall warehouse and factory operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of orders.
- Manage inventory levels, implement effective inventory control measures, and ensure accuracy of stock records.
- Collaborate with suppliers and production teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and meet customer demands.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high product standards and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a strong understanding of import and export regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate with international suppliers and shipping agencies to ensure smooth import and export processes.
- Monitor shipment schedules, track shipments, and resolve any issues related to customs clearance or logistics.
- Provide effective leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the team, fostering a positive work environment.
- Set performance targets, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and teamwork.
- Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring proper allocation of resources and cost control.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze financial statements, and implement strategies to improve profitability.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality or customer satisfaction.
- Requirements_
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in the furniture industry.
- Proficient in Malay and English.
- Strong sales acumen and a track record of driving sales growth.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse and factory operations, including inventory management and quality control.
- Thorough understanding of import and export regulations, customs procedures, and logistics is a plus.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with suppliers, clients, and stakeholders.
- Exceptional leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using relevant software and tools for sales tracking, inventory management, and financial analysis.
