**Accounts Payable Officer** As an AP Officer, your main responsibility will be to ensure all invoices are approved appropriately and paid on time, maintains the accounts payable system, and resolves complex issues as and when necessary while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. You will be reporting to the AP Manager, based in UOA Shah Alam. **Main Responsibilities** - Review and verify assigned China locations invoices for appropriate documentation and approval before payment - Process invoices and payments for assigned China locations - To resolve invoice discrepancies and issues (identify, communicate, and facilitate resolution for suppliers) - Correspond with internal and external parties and respond to inquiries - Reconcile unapplied pre-payment in supplier account to ensure no long outstanding item - Assist with month end closing and produce monthly reports i.e., Supplier Reconciliations and other ad-hoc reports - To involve in monthly calls with local finance and procurement to discuss/resolve any pending issues - To involve in yearly audit and providing any required information from Internal and External auditors **Qualifications** - You should possess a diploma / bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance - Significant Accounts Payable experience - Able to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin - Accounting system experience - Oracle and SAP are preferred; SAP S4 Hana, QAD, COGNOS is desirable - Microsoft Office experience; possessed sound intermediate Excel knowledge - Able to work independently - Good interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills **About us**: **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every single day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** **We are "One PPG" to the world.** **We trust our people every day, in every way.** **We make it happen.** **We run it like we own it.** **We do better today than yesterday - everyday.** Benefits will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process.
