**Job description**:
To manage the sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of goods and services in a cost-effective and timely manner, ensuring alignment with company policies and operational requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Procurement Operations**
- Handle end-to-end procurement processes for raw materials, factory consumables, engineering parts, and services.
- Issue and manage purchase requisitions (PR) and purchase orders (PO).
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and follow up with suppliers on lead times and backorders.

2. **Sourcing & Vendor Management**
- Identify, evaluate, and register new suppliers locally and internationally.
- Maintain effective supplier relationships and conduct performance evaluations.
- Source and compare quotations to ensure value for money and quality standards.

3. **Negotiation & Contract Management**
- Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions with vendors.
- Draft and review procurement contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with company standards.

4. **Inventory Coordination**
- Work with the warehouse and production departments to manage inventory levels and avoid stockouts or overstocking.
- Assist in planning procurement activities based on production forecasts and schedules.

5. **Documentation & Compliance**
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and vendor documents.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, internal audit requirements, and sustainability standards

**Requirements**:

- **Education**: Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum 1-4 years’ experience in a similar procurement or purchasing role, preferably in a manufacturing or refinery environment is added advantage.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
