**1. Role Summary:

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Leading end to end sourcing activities for SEA stakeholders.
- Develop, issue, and analyse RFQs to secure most competitive bids.
- Identify and select vendors and suppliers using criteria such as quality of products/ services, price, delivery date and payment terms.
- Make purchase decisions in accordance with OFS procedures and policies.
- To identify new suppliers to increase competition and reduce single source risk.
- Manage new vendor on boarding, review and qualify the vendor before on board them as our vendor.
- Evaluating supplier performance from time-to-time.
- Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders.
- Execute deflation initiatives for repeated Sourcing Requisition.
- Negotiating Contracts.
- Increase Contract Pricing and reduce ad-hoc Sourcing Requisition.
- Manage exclusive vendor invoice issues and timely resolution.
- To update the Purchase Info Record (PIR) from time-to-time.
- Initial Critical supplier under Approved Supplier List (ASL) to comply with Supplier Quality procedures.
- Collaborate with Supplier Quality team for supplier qualifications and performance issues. Drive vendor recovery.
- Buyer is also responsible complying with all standard OFS procurement processes and policies.

**2. Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business, Accounting, or equivalent.
- Have 3-5 years of proven experience working in Supply Chain, Procurement, Sourcing.
- Comprehensive understanding of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and any ERP, SAP, Ariba systems.
- Have good oral and written communication skills.
- Be flexible to work and ability to work independently.
- Have good interpersonal, analytical, negotiating, and problem-solving skills.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM6,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (required)

**Experience**:

- Supply Chain, Procurement, Sourcing.: 3 years (required)
- ERP, SAP, Ariba systems.: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)
