**Job Summary**:
The **Restaurant Operations Manager** is responsible for overseeing multiple outlets of a restaurant chain in Malaysia, ensuring operational excellence, consistent customer experience, and profitability. This role involves managing staff, optimizing processes, enforcing brand standards, and driving business growth.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Multi-Outlet Operations Management**:
- Oversee daily operations across multiple restaurant locations.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, service standards, and cleanliness.
- Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all outlets.
- Conduct regular store visits and audits to maintain brand compliance.
**2. Staff Leadership & Training**:
- Recruit, train, and supervise outlet managers and staff.
- Develop training programs to ensure high performance and adherence to brand standards.
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance evaluations.
**3. Customer Experience & Brand Reputation**:
- Establish a high customer service standard across all outlets
- Maintain high customer satisfaction levels across all outlets.
- Address and resolve escalated customer complaints effectively.
- Monitor feedback (online reviews, surveys) and implement improvements.
**4. Financial & Inventory Control**:
- Monitor budgets, sales performance, and profitability of each outlet.
- Optimize food & beverage costs, labor costs, and operational expenses.
- Work with procurement teams to manage inventory and supplier relationships.
**5. Compliance & Safety**:
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian F&B regulations, hygiene standards (MOH, local authorities), and labor laws.
- Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Maintain necessary licenses and certifications for all outlets.
**6. Business Growth & Marketing Support**:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute promotions, events, and loyalty programs.
- Identify opportunities for expansion, new locations, or menu innovations.
- Analyze market trends and competitor strategies.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- **Experience**: 5+ years in restaurant operations management, preferably in a multi-outlet chain.
- **Education**: Diploma/Degree in Hospitality would be an advantage
- **Leadership**: Strong team management and coaching skills.
- **Communication**: Fluent in English & Bahasa Malaysia (additional languages a plus).
- **Analytical Skills**: POS systems, inventory software, and financial reporting.
- **Adaptability**: Willing to travel frequently between outlets.
