As we continue scaling, we're looking for a Public Relations Manager who can strengthen our reputation, shape our public voice, and help us communicate our story with clarity and impact.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a local PR strategy to support brand awareness and business growth in Malaysia.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, industry media, and business communities.
  • Plan and manage PR activities, including press releases, media pitches, interviews, conferences and events.
  • Monitor the information field: track brand mentions, news agenda, risks, and opportunities.
  • Act as a local spokesperson for media queries and coordinate with regional/global PR teams.
  • Produce high-quality media materials aligned with the company's tone and messaging.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, legal, and business development teams to ensure consistent communication.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of relevant PR experience, preferably in fintech, tech, telecom, banking, or IT startups.
  • Strong understanding of Malaysia's business and media ecosystem.
  • Solid network of media contacts in business, finance, and technology fields.
  • Ability to plan and execute PR activities independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing press events or influencer collaborations is a plus.
  • Analytical and creative mindset, proactive attitude, and strong ownership.
