Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is vital to any organization's success and growth. This role ensures that business processes run efficiently, resources are optimally utilized, and goals are met within budget and on time. From managing production schedules to overseeing supply chains and improving internal systems, the operations manager ensures that every department works cohesively toward the company's objectives ( Stakeholder Requirement ). Organizations risk inefficiencies, increased costs, and missed opportunities.

Your roles and responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures for efficient operations.
• Enhance systems, processes, and best practices.
• Manage day-to-day operations, overseeing the operations team and department.
• Ensure organizational processes comply with legal regulations and standards.
• Uphold health and safety guidelines and enforce compliance.
• Monitors employee and team performance, offering coaching, training, and feedback for improvement.
• Handle/Manage budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation to meet strategic goals.
• Collaborate cross-departmentally to align operations with organizational objectives.
• Implement quality assurance measures for products/services and monitor production KPIs.
• Analyze data to identify process improvement opportunities and cost savings.
• Manage supply chain processes, including inventory, production, sales, and sourcing.
• Optimize workflows and processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality products.
• Oversee staffing plans, recruitment, and training.
• Report on operational efficiency and quality standards.
• Foster innovation and productivity through effective communication.

What you will bring to the role:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
• Industry Experience: At least 10 years of firsthand experience in the IC/semiconductor sector, with a proven record of success.
• Leadership & People Management: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and manage teams effectively, fostering a culture of productivity and collaboration.
• Operational Expertise and Excellence: Comprehensive knowledge of inventory control, maintenance strategies, and quality management principles to ensure operational efficiency.
• Strategic Thinking & Problem-Solving: A forward-thinking approach to business challenges, coupled with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Communication & Customer Engagement: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong customer relationships and drive service excellence.
• Project Management Proficiency: Skilled in project planning, execution, and monitoring, utilizing industry-standard methodologies to achieve organizational goals.
