Junior Account and Administration Executive

  • 1. Accounting Operations
  • Handle daily accounting entries including sales invoices, purchases, payments, receipts, and journal entries.

2. Billing and Invoicing

  • Generate and issue invoices to customers promptly and accurately.
  • Monitor customer payments and update customer ledgers.
  • Follow up with customers on outstanding invoices and support credit control functions.
  • Verify supplier invoices and ensure timely payment processing.

3. Financial Reporting & Documentation

  • Assist in preparing monthly management reports, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
  • Ensure all accounting documents are properly filed, organized, and readily available for audit purposes.
  • Support external auditors by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

4. Inventory & Costing (Specific to Distribution Industry)

  • Work closely with the warehouse and logistics departments to verify stock movement and inventory valuation.
  • Assist in monitoring cost of goods sold (COGS) and reporting stock discrepancies.
  • Support stock take activities and reconcile physical inventory with accounting records.

5. Taxation & Compliance

  • Assist in preparing and submitting SST, EPF, SOCSO, and PCB reports on time.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support year-end financial closing and tax filing activities.
  • Maintain and update accounting records in the accounting system.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable on a regular basis.
  • Assist in preparing bank reconciliation and monthly closing activities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
