Key Responsibilities

1. Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations for management decision-making.
  • Build and maintain automated reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
  • Translate business questions into data-driven analysis and actionable insights.

2. Data Management & Quality

  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data from multiple sources.
  • Work with IT/Data teams to enhance data pipelines, data models, and databases.
  • Implement data validation processes and monitor data quality issues.
  • Recommend improvements to data governance and data standards.

3. Advanced Analytics

  • Conduct predictive modelling, forecasting, and statistical analysis.
  • Use advanced methods such as regression, clustering, segmentation, and time-series analysis.
  • Build analytical models to support key business initiatives such as forecasting, customer behavior, performance tracking, and optimization.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with business units (Finance, Operations, HR, Marketing, etc.) to understand data requirements.
  • Present insights in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Lead discussions on analytics findings and recommend strategic actions.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts.

5. Tools & Technologies

  • Use analytical and data tools such as:
  • SQL, Python, R.
  • Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
  • Excel (advanced functions, Power Query, Power Pivot).
  • Data warehouse / data lake environments (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure Data Lake).
  • Maintain documentation for analysis workflows, dashboards, and data models.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • Master's degree is an added advantage.
  • 5–7 years' experience
    in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics-related roles.
