Allowance: RM 500 - RM 800

Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm and Alternate Saturday in a month

Preferred : Chinese speaker

Job Scope / Responsibilities

As a Social Media Intern, you will assist our creative and marketing team in producing content and managing online presence to boost engagement and brand visibility.

Content Creation

  • Assist in creating visuals, videos, and captions for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
  • Support video editing, reels, and basic graphics using tools like CapCut, Canva, or Adobe software
  • Help during photoshoots, filming, and other media production sessions

Social Media Posting & Scheduling

  • Assist in uploading and scheduling posts based on the content calendar
  • Monitor post performance and keep track of audience interaction

Community Engagement

  • Respond to comments and direct messages
  • Help grow the community by actively engaging with followers and relevant content

Trend Spotting & Research

  • Stay updated with trending content, challenges, and viral formats
  • Share ideas for creative campaigns and improvements

Basic Reporting

  • Collect basic analytics like views, likes, and shares
  • Help compile simple weekly or monthly social media reports

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with content creators, videographers, and the marketing team
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and assist during events or content days

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Multimedia, Design, or related fields
  • Familiar with social media platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
  • Basic video editing and design skills (CapCut, Canva, Adobe tools)
  • Good communication skills in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia
  • Creative, self-motivated, and eager to learn
  • Able to work independently and in a team setting
  • Bonus: Has a personal creative portfolio or experience managing a content page/account

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Internship, Contract, Commission, New-Grad, Apprenticeship

Contract length: 3 - 5 months

Pay: RM RM800.00 per month
