Job Responsibility:

  • Supports Product Manager to set product line strategy and execution to meet business goals.
  • Responsible for application of products in the assigned region of responsibility.
  • Responsible for product trials and monitoring, reporting on the performances.
  • Promoting the product line by providing recommendations and proposals in line with  customer technical needs.
  • Support Sales during customer discussion and negotiation to achieve the intended business targets.
  • Claim and complaint investigation related to the product line, with perioding reporting on the claim situation.
  • Responsible to conduct and maintain returned sample reporting.
  • Provide knowledge and technical support to sales and service team.
  • Competition analysis on the product line in APAC region.
  • Conduct product technical trainings to both internal and external participants.
  • Make full use of communication and collaboration tools to support the customer approach.
  • Other relevant duties that may be assigned to you from time to time by the company to suite the business environment.
  • You may be required to perform your duties overseas and travel to the locations where your expertise is required and/or upon request by the Company.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering.
  • Experience in technical product promotion and applications. Experience in pulp, paper, tissue or similar manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Required language(s) both speaking and writing: Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin.
  • Computer literate (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook, MS Teams).
  • Good analytical and systematic skills.
  • Mature and possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Frequent travels to perform assigned duties.
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivating and remote reporting.
