The incumbent of this role is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, conducting in-depth research and analysis, and ensuring the initiatives' alignment with organizational goals. This role involves collaborating with business leaders to integrate strategies and optimise project management processes, engaging and managing stakeholders to drive effective collaboration and communication, escalating project-related issues and enhancing overall organizational efficiency.

Key Accountabilities:

Strategic Support

  • Assist in developing and implementing the PMO's initiatives, including governance frameworks, standards, and methodologies to align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Support the development of Group-wide Annual Strategies and Key Division Annual Operating Plans by providing insights into operational and external challenges/concerns.

Research & Analysis

  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to evaluate industry trends, economic factors, customer behavior, and other variables that impact the business.
  • Suggest actionable insights to assist in strategic direction and corporate prioritization.

Project Portfolio Management

  • Assist in managing the organization's project portfolio, focusing on prioritization, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Ensure project and initiative monitoring is structured and standardized, with outcomes measured and reported in a timely manner.

Support to Business Leaders

  • Collaborate with business leaders to formulate detailed project charters that outline objectives, key activities, milestones, KPIs, cost implications, deliverables, key interdependencies, and success factors
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure successful project execution

Stakeholders Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership and project teams.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to ensure the successful deployment of all initiatives

Integration & Alignment

  • Partner with business leaders to integrate projects and initiatives with respective function plans, ensuring continuous alignment of strategies, objectives, and timelines.
  • Revise plans as needed in response to new information or technical developments

Implementation & Monitoring

  • Monitor the implementation of projects and initiatives, focusing on time, cost, and quality to ensure intended benefits are realized

Issue Escalation

  • Identify and escalate project-related issues to senior management for resolution, ensuring all issues are addressed promptly and effectively

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP) will have an added advantage.
  • 7 years of experience in management consulting, change management, transformation, strategic planning and Programme Management Office.
  • Solid understanding of organization strategies, structure and processes to drive transformation.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
