Job Description:

  • Assist lawyers in managing intellectual property matters, including trademark filings, renewals, and record-keeping.
  • Coordinate with local and foreign trademark agents and authorities for registration and maintenance of IP rights.
  • Prepare, organise, and update physical files related to trademarks and other IP rights.
  • Monitor deadlines and maintain accurate records of trademark portfolios.
  • Provide general administrative and paralegal support to the IP team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Able to work independently and under stress.
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Meticulous, hardworking and a team player.
  • Required language(s): High proficiency in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in related field.
  • Prior working experience in a legal firm or experience in intellectual property matters will be an added advantage.
  • Salary to be commensurate with experience.
