BookMyShow SEA is a regional ticketing start up, selling events, movies, attractions and more. We empower event organisers and venue owners by giving them the right tools that they need to successfully manage their ticketing from the internet to the door.

We are looking for someone who will be responsible for providing overall direction and lead the Finance Team (based in different countries) in controlling and utilising the accounting functions and financial reporting on the organisation performance.    Also, to ensure that financial transactions, policies and procedures meet the organisation business objective and are conducted in accordance with various countries regulations, standards and practice.

What you'll do:

·      Manage the various accounting functions to keep track and report on the financial performance of the organization

·      Manage and maintain full spectrum of accounting functions of the company including audit and tax planning.

·      Review and authorize event settlements, progressive payments, invoices, debit/credit notes and payment instructions

·      Review and recommend improvement of accounting policies and procedures

·      Supervision and training of finance team

·      Prepare and control financial budget of the company to ensure the organisation's objectives are achieved

·      Drive and co-ordinate timely and accurate monthly financial and management reporting, forecasting and budgeting processes for review

·      Prepare board reports (where necessary)

·      Review and approve quarterly GST reports (Singapore) and/or all tax reports in Indonesia and Malaysia

·      Plan and control cash flow

·      Optimise returns of company's assets to increase profitability and stability of the organization

·      Research and evaluate opportunities to increase the value of company's assets

·      Control actual expenditures against budgets

·      Review legal documents and contracts (where necessary)

·      Handle Company Secretarial matters

·      Work closely with other department heads on finance and operations related matters

·      Ensure that workflow and processes are running smoothly within the Client Service and Customer Service department and are well integrated with the Finance department

·      Ensure proper accountability and safeguard the total gross takings from our ticket sales generated by our Customer Services team

We are looking for someone who has/Is :-

·      Good knowledge of financial management

·      A get things-done attitude

·      Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and organizational skillsets

·      Lead a team who are based in different countries;

·      Team player with ability to communicate and interact with people at all levels

·      Positive, pragmatic and mature with flexible approach to issues and problem solving and ability to work under pressure

·      Personal integrity is essential for this position

·      Driver for Results

This role would be a good fit if you have:

·      Degree in Accounting/ Preferably a CPA

·      Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in Accounting with at least 3 years in a similar position

·      Track records of leading a team from various countries (India, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia)

·      Worked in a start-up will be an added advantage
