Company Overview

We are a growing company involved in Telecommunication projects. In line with our expansion, we are seeking a Junior HSE Officer to support our Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) operations and promote a safe working culture at our sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing company HSE policies and procedures at work sites.
  • Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections and identify unsafe acts or conditions.
  • Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist in accident, incident, and near-miss reporting and documentation.
  • Support safety induction, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
  • Assist in monitoring Permit to Work (PTW) activities such as working at height, hot works, and confined space work.
  • Support environmental controls, waste management, and housekeeping practices.
  • Assist in emergency drills and ensure emergency equipment is in good condition.
  • Maintain basic HSE records, checklists, and reports.
  • Perform other HSE-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) or related field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic knowledge of safety practices and HSE requirements.
  • Willing to work at sites and travel when required.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Added Advantage

  • Safety certifications such as NIOSH / DOSH / CIDB Green Card.
  • Previous site or industrial experience.
  • Experience in site-based safety work

Contract length: 12 months
