Operations Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible in ensuring smooth day-to-day company operations, with strict compliance to quality and safety standards.
  • Drive operational and warehouse efficiencies to maximize productivity and reduce costs without compromising product quality.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by implementing change management processes and adopting best practices.
  • Establish good working relationship with authorities and other related government offices.
  • Oversee the management and implementation of Capex projects, as well as the maintenance of equipment and warehouse facilities.
  • Manage and lead a group of subordinates on performance and provide on the job training to subordinates on warehouse operations to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
  • Any other duties assigned from time to time by the Superior & Management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Chemistry / Science / or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Fresh graduates may apply and are to be considered for entry level.
  • Experience in chemical industry / manufacturing / terminal would be added advantage.
  • Required skill(s): MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
  • Possess good analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Possess hands-on experience and willing to be based in terminal.
