Academic Qualification - Bachelor Degree in Flight Operations Management, Airport / Airline Management, Aviation Management or any certificate related.

  1. Preparing and forward Despatch Release Form to aircraft captain for verification before the flights which includes:

  2. Flight load sheet

  3. Flight plans
  4. NOTAM
  5. Helideck status and weather report
  6. Other traffic info.
  7. Validity of crew flying documents.
  8. Other flight documents as required.
  9. Updating daily movement flight schedule board

  10. Managing the following day's flight schedule by coordinating with:-

  11. Pilot-In-Charge for pilot scheduling

  12. Engineer-In-Charge for aircraft allocation including fuel required.
  13. Update location of mobile rigs / barges on the information board and to notify pilots of the changes.
  14. Updating NOTAM to pilots.
  15. Performing Night Standby duties as rostered by Flight Operations Supervisor.
  16. If an emergency situation which endangers the safety of the helicopter or persons becomes known first to the operations, FOO is to notify the appropriate authorities of the nature of the situation without delay and request for assistance if required. At the same time, he shall notify the Supervisor PIC of the situation.
  17. Any other duties as required by management.
