Senior Production Planner & Scheduler

Batu Kawan

Salary range from RM5000 – 7000

Permanent role

Job Description :

-Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing inventory levels.

-Analyze demand forecasts, production capacity, and inventory levels to develop achievable production plans and schedules.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and logistics, to gather input, resolve issues, and align production schedules with business objectives.

-Monitor production performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

-Lead and mentor a team of production planners and schedulers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster professional development and growth.

-Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components to support production schedules.

-Communicate production schedules, updates, and changes to stakeholders, including production teams, management, and customers.

-Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure compliance with product specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

-Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce excess and obsolete inventory.

-Prepare and present production reports, presentations, and analysis to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

-Performs other related duties as assigned by management

-Assist in any tasks as instructed by your superior and/or management of AESB from time to time

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

· Proven experience in production planning and scheduling, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

· Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

· Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software, such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

· Leadership abilities, with experience in leading and mentoring a team of production planners and schedulers.

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, production processes, and continuous improvement methodologies.

· Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements and proactively address challenges and opportunities.

· Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving production issues.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5, RM7,000.00 per month
