Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer (Plating Process) to maintain, optimize, and improve our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring that process quality, yield, and productivity targets are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee plating process performance and conduct root cause analysis on failures.
  • Investigate process issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams on process capability and yield improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate troubleshooting for process problems and yield losses.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects and develop best practices for long-term solutions.
  • Perform statistical data analysis to support process improvements and interpret technical results.
  • Apply structured problem-solving methods including FMEA and risk analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering or Science (Chemical Engineering preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software applications.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing engineering, specifically in electroplating processes.
  • Experience in the leadframe manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization and with suppliers/customers.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to resolve cross-departmental issues effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Proven capability to implement improvement activities to enhance productivity and profitability.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM5, RM10,000.00 per month
