About the Role: Senior Consultant/Manager (Strategy 3)

As Senior Consultant you will be responsible for supporting and leading specific areas of our client engagements meaning you play a critical role in ensuring the quality of deliverables and client experience are always of the highest calibre. You will also have responsibility for providing direction to juniors in the team, doing so in a way that motivates and inspires them to brilliance.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Own analytics workstreams end-to-end: scoping, solution design, data plan, timelines and stakeholder alignment for brand/innovation/market strategy cases.
• Architect advanced models and simulators (e.g., MMM with ad stock/saturation, hierarchical Bayes conjoint, price–pack architecture optimizers).
• Lead commercial and financial modelling for strategic options: portfolio/innovation sizing, pricing corridors, cannibalization, ROI/NPV trade-offs.
• Design and run causal analyses and experiments (A/B tests, diff-in-diff, synthetic control) to quantify incrementality and de-risk decisions.
• Translate ambiguous briefs into analytical hypotheses and a clear learning agenda; select appropriate methods and justify trade- offs.
• Elevate brand equity measurement: refine frameworks, link to financial outcomes and build repeatable equity-to-value bridges and dashboards.
• Ensure rigorous QA and model governance: code reviews, validation checks, back-testing, sensitivity/stress testing; sign off on outputs.
• Mentor and supervise junior analysts; set coding standards, templates and accelerators; manage workload and coach on consulting

Essential Qualifications

• 4–7+ years in analytics/marketing science/consulting with demonstrable ownership of complex, multi-source modelling projects.
• Expert-level Python or R: modular code, unit tests, advanced modelling (Bayesian/hierarchical models, time series, optimisation) and API/data ingestion.
• Deep marketing analytics expertise: MMM, attribution basics, price elasticity and promo ROI, conjoint (HB and simulators), segmentation, SEM/driver analysis.
• Strong financial modelling and commercial acumen: board-ready business cases, scenario simulators, value bridges and sensitivity frameworks.
• Causal inference and experiment design proficiency; ability to separate correlation from causation and advise on testable decisions.
• Data engineering literacy: reproducible pipelines (e.g., dbt/Airflow basics), cloud data warehouses (BigQuery/Snowflake/Azure SQL) and metadata/docs.
• Visualisation and storytelling mastery: executive narratives, layered insight builds, decision trees and "so what/now what" recommendations.
• Compliance and security mindset for cross-border data: data minimisation, anonymisation, access controls; familiarity with UK/EU client requirements.

Critically important is the ability to successfully navigate organisations, find the right leverage points and build relationships.
