Key Responsibilities

Food Quality & Portion Control

  • Inspect dish portion sizes and food quality to ensure consistency with standards.
  • Gather and review customer feedback to maintain and improve satisfaction.

Kitchen Hygiene & Safety

  • Oversee kitchen cleanliness, equipment, and utensil hygiene in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Monitor kitchen facilities and equipment maintenance to ensure smooth operations and control repair costs.

Inventory & Resource Management

  • Plan daily, weekly, and monthly food and material requirements using systematic methods.
  • Inspect incoming goods for quality and quantity, and distribute resources to kitchen teams efficiently.

Operational Efficiency & Cost Control

  • Improve dish output rates and operational efficiency.
  • Enhance gross profit margins and reduce operational costs through effective planning and supervision.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, motivate, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high performance and adherence to standards.
  • Support team development, resolve operational issues, and ensure smooth workflow during peak hours.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Supervisor, Chef de Partie, or similar culinary leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to monitor food quality, portion control, and customer satisfaction.
  • Skilled in kitchen cost control, inventory planning, and resource allocation.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
  • Familiar with kitchen equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in kitchen management systems or basic computer skills.
  • High level of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
