JOB SCOPE:

  • Supervise and manage a team of automobile mechanics and technicians, providing guidance, support, and coaching as needed.
  • Allocate work assignments to automobile mechanics and technicians, and ensure that work is performed in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor and review the progress of work orders, ensuring that deadlines are met and any issues or delays are promptly addressed.
  • Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and completed repairs to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical issues or problems, providing technical expertise and guidance to automobile mechanics and technicians.
  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repair of vehicles, ensuring that resources, equipment, and materials are available and utilized efficiently.
  • Maintain and update service records, including work orders, repair logs, and customer information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe and clean working environment for both employees and customers.
  • Collaborate with other departments or teams, such as parts procurement or service advisors, to facilitate smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of automobile mechanics/technicians.
  • Proficient in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing automobile issues or problems.
  • Strong technical knowledge and expertise in automotive repairs.
  • Strong knowledge of workshop equipment and tools, including diagnostic equipment and hand tools.
  • Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive mechanic.
  • Possess a minimum Diploma/Technical or Vocational training in Automotive field is preferred.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM4,000.00 per month
