Role Responsibilities:

  • Handle general on-site technical and engineering matters;
  • Overseeing the daily site activities and progress, planning, implementation and monitoring work schedules in accordance with the master and detailed work programmes.
  • Coordinate with different departments concerning the site work activities.
  • Involved in technical writing, engage in technical meetings and reading construction drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Responsible for reviewing the technical drawings, technical writings, technical meeting, shop drawings review, progress of works, preparation of daily records, monthly site progress reports and coordination with representative from the clients' side.
  • Compile and maintain project documentation.
  • Work closely with sub-cons, highlight any work-related matters for team's discussion and solutions
  • Act as the key point of contact between the site team, design consultants, client representatives, and project management.
  • Attend coordination meetings, resolve site-related conflicts, and provide engineering input where necessary
  • Provide technical solutions to resolve site issues and unforeseen conditions.
  • Monitor workmanship, materials, and installation to ensure compliance with specifications and inspection test plans (ITP).
  • Work closely with the safety team to ensure a safe working environment and strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies.
  • Strong knowledge of structural works, piling, utilities, and civil engineering methodologies.

Role Requirements:

  • Minimum a Diploma / Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience.
  • Project is currently located at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 5.
