Odoo Consultant/ERP implementation PM

Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, particularly around accounting and financial processes.

• Manage and lead the implementation of Odoo ERP systems, ensuring successful project delivery on time and within budget.

• Collaborate with developers to customize and configure Odoo to meet specific business needs.

• Provide training and functional support to clients, ensuring they can effectively use the Odoo system to improve their operations.

• Lead cross-functional teams and guide them through pre- and post-sales processes.

• Document business requirements, process flows, and system configurations, ensuring transparency and clarity for all stakeholders.

• Assist with project planning and scoping, ensuring projects align with overall business goals and timelines.

• Leverage accounting knowledge to optimize financial modules and improve business processes.

• Proactively engage with clients to understand their needs, providing ongoing functional assistance and improvements.

• Balance competing priorities and manage complex projects while ensuring high-quality deliverables.

• Stay updated on ERP industry trends, particularly within Odoo, to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of ERP consulting experience, with a focus on Odoo.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (bookkeeping, financial reporting, tax laws) and experience implementing financial modules within Odoo.

• Proven ability to analyze complex business processes and develop effective solutions.

• Expertise in Odoo customization, configuration, and module development.

• Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, deliverables, and client expectations.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in documenting business requirements and system configurations.

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a systematic approach to complex challenges.

• Leadership abilities to manage cross-functional teams and lead projects across multiple regions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with business operations such as Inventory, HR, or Logistics.

• Prior experience with Odoo / OpenERP systems is highly desirable.

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
