About the Role

We're seeking a hands-on Software Developer with solid C# experience and a track record of shipping products that real customers use. You'll help design, build, and improve production-grade applications that leverage AI, integrate with business systems (including ERP), and deliver measurable value. This is a remote, Malaysia-based contract full-time role with minimal travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain production-ready applications and services primarily in C#/.NET.
  • Build and integrate AI-powered features into working products (e.g., ML-driven components, LLM integrations, intelligent automation).
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Develop clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; participate in code reviews and continuous improvement.
  • Implement integrations with third-party systems, including ERP platforms, APIs, and internal tools.
  • Contribute to deployment pipelines, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Produce clear technical documentation and communicate progress, risks, and timelines effectively.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • 2+ years of professional experience delivering software products that are in production or used by customers.
  • Strong proficiency with C# and the .NET ecosystem (e.g., ASP.NET Core, EF Core).
  • Demonstrated experience applying AI/ML in working products (examples: integrating LLMs, vector search, AI workflows, ML inference pipelines).
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Experience
  • Front-end development with (or similar modern frameworks).
  • Mobile app development (Android/iOS, Flutter, React Native, or MAUI).
  • ERP systems exposure (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo) and understanding of business process workflows (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, finance).
  • Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), containers (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
  • SQL/NoSQL databases and performance optimization.
  • RESTful/GraphQL API design and integration; messaging/queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
  • Experience with unit/integration testing frameworks and observability (logging, tracing, metrics).
Location and Work Arrangement
  • Remote within Malaysia as the primary work mode.
  • Occasional travel may be required, not more than once every 3 months (e.g., client meetings, workshops, or team onsite sessions).
Compensation and Type
  • Contract, full-time position.
  • Monthly compensation: RM 4,500 – RM 6,000, commensurate with experience and fit.
