Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage strategic relationships with key Modern Trade customers to strengthen brand equity and achieve profitable growth.
  • Develop and implement annual business plans and promotional strategies to deliver sales, margin, and distribution objectives.
  • Review market and customer data to identify trends, assess risks, and capture emerging business opportunities.
  • Recommend and execute product assortments, pricing, and trade marketing initiatives that align with customer strategies and category goals.
  • Lead commercial negotiations on trading terms, product listings, and promotional agreements within company policy.
  • Formulate and deliver Business Plans with customers to ensure mutual long-term growth.
  • Drive sales forecasting, budget planning, and performance tracking for assigned accounts.
  • Monitor competitor activity, category dynamics, and shopper insights to inform commercial strategy.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Production teams to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess a diploma or degree in International Business, Business Administration, Marketing, Food Science, Food Technology, Food Safety or a related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in FMCG sales, with proven success in Modern Trade account management.
  • Strong track record of managing national or key retail chains and achieving measurable sales results.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills at both operational and senior levels.
  • Highly analytical and commercially astute, with the ability to translate insights into effective action plans.
  • Self-motivated, decisive, and able to lead initiatives independently in a dynamic market environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
