As a Packaging Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing and developing innovative packaging solutions that meet the needs of our diverse range of clients. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for career growth and development within our dynamic organization.

Job description:

1.Responsible for ‌packaging  structure design‌ (including paper, wood-plastic, and plastic transport packaging), ‌prototype validation‌, and ‌testing‌; issue technical drawings via the system.

2.Develop and maintain ‌Work Instructions (WI)‌ for packaging processes.

3.Collaborate with China Packaging R&D team, LOB, or even customer for new customer inquiries or design/material change.

4.Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in packaging design and manufacturing

5.Providing technical support and training to the production team to ensure proper implementation of packaging solutions

6.Responsible for process control and continuous improvement on production process.

  1. Provide training to Production & QC team on new or revised packaging application and process control.

  2. Troubleshoot packaging issues on the mass production line and provide technical solutions.

  3. Work closely with business teams to understand project requirements and coordinate the resolution of packaging challenges.

Job qualification:

  1. Language proficiency: English, Bahasa Malaysian and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

  2. Education background:Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related fields.

  3. Experience in packaging design, structure, testing, and printing, preferably with exposure to mass production line support.

  4. Familiarity with packaging design software and relevant testing standards(Solidworks\Creo\Ctia\UG\AutoCad).

  5. Strong communication and coordination skills, capable of supporting cross-functional collaboration.

  6. Experience managing multiple projects concurrently is preferred.
