Our client "JK PRECAST SDN BHD" is seeking a Production Engineer/Production Supervisor to join their team

What you'll be doing?
  • Plan and optimize production: Develop and implement production plans to streamline workflow and maximize output efficiency.
  • Quality assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of precast components before and after casting, ensuring the highest standards are met.
  • Data analysis: Analyze production data and quality metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement.
  • Resource management: Calculate and forecast manpower and material requirements for production lines, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Supply chain coordination: Order production materials and coordinate with suppliers to maintain adequate inventory levels.
  • Team collaboration: Work closely with plant RTO, subcontractors, and site teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational background: A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field. This knowledge base will be crucial for understanding the technical aspects of precast concrete production.
  • Industry experience: 2-5 years of experience in precast concrete production or a similar manufacturing environment is preferred. Experience coordinating with main contractors, subcontractors, and cross-functional site teams in construction projects are an added advantage.
  • Technical proficiency: Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, essential for ensuring accurate production.
  • Problem-solving skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle challenges in the production process.
  • Communication skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Language skills: Proficiency in Mandarin and English to facilitate clear communication with diverse stakeholders in the industry.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
