Job Responsibilities:

1. Production Coordination

  • Assist the Operations Director in overseeing daily production schedules and ensuring targets for output, quality, and delivery are met.
  • Monitor production progress and highlight any issues or delays to the Operations Director for timely resolution.
  • Coordinate between production teams and supporting departments (QA, R&D, logistics, purchasing) to ensure smooth workflow.

2. Team Support and Supervision

  • Support in supervising production supervisors and operators to ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
  • Assist in organizing manpower schedules and shift arrangements according to production needs.
  • Help identify training needs and coordinate training sessions for production staff.

3. Process and Efficiency Improvement

  • Work with the Operations Director to review and improve production processes for better efficiency and reduced downtime.
  • Collect and analyze production data to recommend areas for optimization.
  • Support implementation of lean manufacturing practices and process automation initiatives.

4. Quality and Food Safety

  • Ensure production activities comply with food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP) and customer requirements.
  • Liaise with the QA team on quality issues and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Monitor hygiene, safety, and cleanliness within the production area.

5. Inventory and Supply Coordination

  • Coordinate with Purchasing and Logistics teams to ensure sufficient raw material supply and timely product dispatch.
  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels and updating the Operations Director on stock status.

6. Equipment Maintenance and Safety Compliance

  • Support maintenance activities and ensure machinery upkeep to prevent downtime.
  • Reinforce safety policies and assist in conducting safety briefings and inspections.

7. Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare regular production performance summaries for review by the Operations Director.
  • Maintain proper documentation of production records, maintenance logs, and quality reports.

8. Customer and Interdepartmental Communication

  • Assist in communicating with the Sales/Customer Service team to align production with order requirements.
  • Support in addressing production-related issues raised by customers or internal stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a production or operations environment, preferably in food processing.
  • Good knowledge of production processes, HACCP, and GMP standards.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Familiar with lean manufacturing and process improvement practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to RM7,500.00 per month
