We're looking for an enthusiastic POS Integration Developer (Offshore) based in Malaysia to join our fully remote team on a full-time basis. Play a pivotal role in building and integrating entirely new Oracle Retail POS (Xstore) solutions for leading international retail operations. Your work will help shape the future of in-store retail technology from the ground up.

Role Summary

You will drive the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Oracle Retail POS Xstore systems as part of a major new deployment. Your expertise will enable seamless integration with enterprise platforms, ensure rock-solid performance, and overcome technical challenges in modern retail environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the rollout and configuration of brand new Oracle Retail POS Xstore applications and related systems.
  • Develop robust system architecture and integrate new interfaces and data flows across business platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve both hardware (PDQ, RFID, printers) and software issues for optimal performance and reliability.
  • Support production operations and incident response during deployment phases and beyond.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to coordinate testing, go-live, and continuous enhancements.
  • Monitor and analyze day-to-day POS and RMS operations to ensure integrity and address errors quickly.
  • Create detailed technical documentation supporting new development and operational excellence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • Proven experience in Oracle Retail POS Xstore development and integration projects.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across both hardware and software layers.
  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL, data flow optimisation, and POS systems.
  • Previous exposure to international retail environments is beneficial.
  • Excellent English communication skills for remote teamwork.
