We're recruiting for a
Senior Consulting Project Manager
for a Global healthcare consultancy company based in Malaysia. This role is a hands-on, client-facing project management role supporting complex healthcare and medical equipment planning projects across the region. The successful candidate will lead project delivery, mentor consultants, and contribute to improving how projects are planned and executed on a global level.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end healthcare projects from initiation through handover: scope, planning, execution, risk management and closure.
  • Translate strategic direction into practical, executable project plans; ensure alignment to client objectives and quality standards.
  • Provide clear, proactive stakeholder communication including status updates, risk mitigation, and recommendations.
  • Deliver technical research, literature reviews, evaluations and detailed project reports.
  • Coach, mentor and support project team members; review and quality-assure consultants' work.
  • Design and deliver training, webinars and client workshops on project outputs and best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement: identify process gaps, implement refinements and capture lessons learned.
  • Support proposal development and client presentations; contribute to business development activities as needed.
  • Frequent travel (domestic and international) as project demands.

What do you need:

  • 8 - 15 years of project management experience, ideally with healthcare facilities, medical equipment planning or consultancy
  • Candidates can have either specialized project management skills OR deep hospital operation knowledge/complementary operational/clinical experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (biomedical preferred) or a healthcare-related field
  • Strong delivery track record, excellent stakeholder and client communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team; resourceful and proactive.
  • Comfortable training and mentoring junior staff.
