Intern - Equipment Engineer
Requirement:
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering/ Manufacturing/ Science or any relevant field.
  • Basic problem solving & data analysis skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
This internship application is open to students who will undergo industrial training at any time between Dec 2025 and 2026
Scope of Duties

Equipment Control

  • Ensure all equipment, jigs & tools (new & current) are properly registered with control numbers, labelled and placed in the correct location as required.
  • Support in preparing the equipment layout, installation etc.
  • Support IQ, OQ and PQ when needed.
  • Keep proper records of validation, maintenance & repair etc. Record any damage etc and report to the related parties.
  • Collect required data as instructed and monitor the trend. Provide feedback to the superior when any issues or potential issues are detected.
  • Work together with production or other related teams when required.
  • Support activities related to validation, risk management, process improvements etc as required.
  • Support the arrangement of equipment and spare-part storage.

Calibration

  • Ensure equipment or tools requiring calibration are calibrated before start use or before the calibration due date. Ensure calibration sticker is updated once calibration is conducted.
  • Track, collect and replace equipment for calibration and maintenance.
  • Update required documents related to calibration.

Safety

  • Report any safety issues to the related parties, whether it is an accident or potential hazard. Work together with related parties to resolve any issues.
  • Help ensure safety labels or procedures are available and implemented in the required processes.

Others

  • Work together with the facility team whenever needed.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the work area, especially in the clean room.
