Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering/ Manufacturing/ Science or any relevant field.
  • Basic problem solving & data analysis skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
This internship application is open to students who will undergo industrial training at any time between Dec 2025 and 2026

Scope of Duties

  1. New Product Introduction (NPI)

  2. Support the NPI team in safe-keeping necessary documents

  3. Support in preparing necessary reports or documents for new product launch

  4. Attend meeting related to the new product and help take minutes

  5. New Products / Transfers

  6. Support in preparation of training for new product

  7. Support in layout preparation, line installation etc as needed
  8. Work together with related parties (MFG, EQM, Purchasing etc) to introduce the necessary work stations, equipment, jigs & tools etc into the manufacturing line.
  9. Support in establishing the required work instructions, quality plan, records etc for the new processes.
  10. Make necessary arrangements with the related personnel on sample builds, test runs or validation. Conduct or support validation activities with related personnel.
  11. Keep and maintain necessary records related to training, new products or transfers.

  12. Report any issues to the superior or management or related personnel.

  13. Process Monitoring & Improvement

  14. Collect process data as required. Highlight non-conformities or abnormalities found in the processes when necessary to the related parties.

  15. Support root cause investigation when an abnormality occurs and take appropriate actions to eliminate or significantly reduce the issue or risk.
  16. Propose process improvements to increase productivity or reduce costs from time to time.
  17. Work together with the related team on risk management reviews, document updates, equipment breakdowns and other related topics as necessary.

  18. Keep reports as required.

  19. Others

  20. Conduct 5S activities as required around own work station.

  21. Other ad hoc tasks related to the job scope which may be required from time to time.
