JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Projecting cost estimates on various materials needed for a project.
  2. Hiring or procuring subcontractors based on the presented budget to the client.
  3. Liaising with site managers, site engineers, and other necessary people to ensure the project follows to the timeline.
  4. Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
  5. Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies.
  6. Perform risk, value management, and cost control.
  7. Prepare and analyse costings for tenders.
  8. Allocate work to subcontractors.
  9. Provide advice on contractual claims.
  10. Analyse outcomes and write detailed progress reports.
  11. Value completed work and arranged payments.
  12. Maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use.
  13. Understand the implications of health and safety regulations.
