About the Role

We are assisting our client,
K2 Strategic Infrastructure
, a global developer and operator of hyper-scale digital infrastructure, in hiring a
Principal Engineer
to join their Malaysia team.

The successful candidate will support
data centre design and construction
, ensuring world-class standards in engineering quality, safety, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee
    data centre design and construction
    phases.
  • Review and approve
    engineering designs and calculations
    .
  • Liaise with
    consultants, contractors, and vendors
    .
  • Support
    commissioning, troubleshooting, and handover
    activities.
  • Ensure compliance with
    K2 internal standards
    and
    TNB/local codes
    .

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in
    Electrical/Power or Building Services Engineering
    .
  • Minimum
    6 years' experience
    in
    electrical/substation (33kV/132kV/275kV)
    projects.
  • Experience in
    data centre projects
    preferred.
  • Excellent command of
    English
    ;
    Mandarin/Bahasa
    an advantage.
  • Familiar with
    TNB procedures and local regulations
    .
