Construction Principal

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Lead with 5-7 years of direct experience in delivering mission-critical data centre projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in either Civil & Structural (C&S) or Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) disciplines minimum of Bachelor qualification, with a proven ability to manage complex construction in data centre from inception to completion. This role requires a hands-on leader willing to be based in or frequently travel throughout the Johor area.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the construction and liaise with construction ground team, consultant and PMC to ensure work is complete as per the baseline programme.
• Liaise with the HSE to ensure the work site is always safe to work and without compromising non-approval method at site.
• Reporting to the Line Manager daily and weekly by prepare the report. Control the quality at site and provide the procedure work for each work.
• Coordinate with internal operation during the DLP and manage the vendor.

Key Requirements

• C&S or MEP bachelor certification and other professional is welcome
• A minimum of 5-7 years of construction management experience, with a demonstrable track record on data centre or other mission-critical facilities.
• Strong foundational expertise in either C&S (Civil & Structural) or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems. Must be adept at reading technical drawings, managing sub-contractors, and ensuring stringent quality standards.
• Must be willing to travel extensively to and within the Johor area to oversee project sites and liaise with stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead on-site teams, manage schedules, control budgets, and ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols
• Able to work under pressure and long hour if required.
• MS software, project, P6 and other.

Education
Bachelors in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Building Science
